I have been teaching computer science for over a decade. In that time I have developed individual courses, relationships with industry partners, dual enrollment partnerships, and an entire computer science academy structure for high school students. My expertise is designing fun curriculum that students enjoy, so they want to continue their educational journey in CS.
In addition to introductory and AP Computer Science, I built an Android development course for high school students that received dual enrollment credit at Ramapo College. I also designed a Virtual Reality and Game Design course that uses Windows Mixed Reality headsets, and I selected all of the appropriate hardware necessary for implementation. Where full course implementations are not possible, I have created independent study options for students in courses like artificial intelligence, web development, and data structures.
I have worked with some of the biggest industry partners to arrange trips, sponsorship agreements, and internships. Over 20 of my students received internships at Bloomberg while attending high school. I have arranged for class trips to Google, Bloomberg, Dow Jones, and Vydia.
